hi Alice, All that you say is true,however if enough people fear the market they will not bid for the stock so temporarly it will go down regardless of how much it has going for it. If few people want what one holds believe me the price will go down,because no money is there to chase it up.In time and after the shock of this market crices is over then the fundementals of a company will again reasirt themselves and the price of the stock will revive and continue up words but that can take some time. regards and best wishes Ron
