Not quite! SIII has been projected to hit $ 15 by BBRS with a buy rating for the next twelve months. DIMD will fetch 0.52 of SIII after the merger and will thus get to 0.52 * 15 = 7.8 in twelve months or before! However, DIMD by itself was trading low at $ 4+ and may hit $ 6 before the merger in the short term. A 20 % yield in two months ain't bad at all!

Also if you have been following ALSC, it is supposed to zoom to $ 20+.
SIII is in the same boat as ALSC and thus 20+ is quite possible.

To put it definitively, both DIMD and SIII are going to go up. So you can't lose by buying either right now! Once August is over all tech stocks will start going up!
