As to the impending 3G, the Europeans and Japanese are allocating more spectrum for that service. Most European countries are allocating additional 15 Mhz spectrum for that purpose. What the FCC doing? Nothing as of yet. So now you are going to tell me that Bell Atlantic cellular system is going to do high speed data, along with one rate voice services? Good luck in satisfying the consumer....

I am sorry to say that I found your above stated response incoherent and unresponsive. The fact that the FCC has not allocated spectrum is supposed to mean something? either you are right or all the RF engineers at all the CDMA licensees dont know what they are doing. Bell Atlantic is not currently offering 3G so I don't know what you meant by that reference. We all know that all the current data offering are narrowband and transitional steps.
