I first heard about PXXI when a broker trying to drum up business called a friend of mine and told him about it. He claimed they would be putting out good numbers in a few weeks. After some preliminary DD and looking at the chart (and the float!), I hopped in with a small position.

Just two days later and by complete coincidence, another friend told me that his company was going to be buying a new software system, and that it would most likely be one made by a company called Prophet21. He didn't know anything else about the company, but said the system was great, the people were very professional and knowledgeable, and he was thinking about looking into the company as an investment. He said the sales people were very excited about the product and indicated sales were going well. Now of course that could all be sales hype, but my friend did see a demo of the system and said it was very good.

After marvelling at the coincidence of it all, I doubled my position the next day.
