Can you read? The post says, in substance, that there were no laws restricting gun use --the German citizenry had the right to own pistols and shotguns. Do you simply refuse to read the words that are there? You know nothing of Weimar Germany: the restrictions that you would like to have been there, just weren't there. The democratic institutions we have were all there--there was a weak Chancellor (Executive) system, with legislative control (housed in the Reichstag, etc.), and a strong judiciary. It all was there--that's why Hitler's ascension was such a shock. Germany was considered a civilized, law-abiding country, with minorities (Jews, Poles) in high places. Hitler diosmantled these protections later. Please read a book on the subject--there are even talking books if the words are too big for you. But I don't need to be a pyschic here--you know nothing, and won't admit it. Admitting ignorance is the first step toward knowledge. Since you won't admit ignorance, you will never gain knowledge sufficient for someone to say "that guy knows what he's talking about." You don't. It's that simple.
