My Green Genes buys?

2000 OSIP at 4 7/8
10000 ARIA at 1 1/16
2000 NBIX at 4 1/2
1000 CELG at 15
500 VRTX at 24 11/16

As you can see, there is no theme here, and
the title 'Green Genes' is just for fun. These
are stocks which have come up often enough
on the biotech threads as being a good
value, perhaps munchable--etc etc.

I'd like to do this exercise once a month--
listing a handful of stocks that are on
my misc watch lists. Anybody is welcome
to make a case for one or more of nominations,
but if I don't hear much back within a few
days I'll just pick one or two myself, post my
reasons, and get a final price and add them to
the portfolio. In a few months the basket should
be full. I may reserve 10 or 20k for short term
trading.

If somebody would like to create the list of
nominations in September, I'll gladly hand
off responsibility. I'll just keep track of
the numbers--and quarterly I'll post how we
are doing against the professionally managed
mutual funds. This is sort of duplicating what
Rocketman and Cytokine are doing with VD's
model portfolio--and if there's no interest
I can let the idea die, does not matter.
