Ish. I remembered what you said awhile back about bass getting a little fishy tasting. Went out this morning early and pulled in two four/six pounders. Normally I would throw back, but since I hadn't had bass in a long dang time I tried them. They aren't the very best eating in the world but were not bad at all! Really nice in fact.

You take the skin off before cooking them? Maybe that was the problem. I filleted them and took off the skin. I fried one and baked the other as a little experiment. Both turned out dang nice.

Going back either this evening or early tomorra. I caught the two on a rubber worm. Tried spinnerbaits - nothing doing. They nailed the heck outta that worm though. Caught several little ones too.
