Yes,... I was worried about this. This thing can spill over into the entire industry and bring us all down. If I recall (and I'm doing this from memory) when the T network went down Chambers very quickly made a public statement that CSCO took the blame thus alleviating pressure on their customer. This was an attempt to protect T from losing it's customer base. IN the meantime Chambers flew out the neccessary products and resources via charter jet and took care of the problem in a day. There was no finger pointing and the situation was handled with professionalism. I'd like to see LU operate in a similar fashion. As we all know it take a great person/company to admit fault. Now the issue goes beyond fault..the question now is how are we going to assist MCI/WCOM in meeting the needs of their customers.
