That explains why AMD hasn't broken through 20. They can brag about reaching 650 MHz, but not a single Athlon at any speed has reached the hands of Joe Consumer yet. PC Rag is saying that the new Compaq and IBM models featuring Athlon won't be available until September, and only for direct order.

"Show me the money!" After all, Intel already has.
