News... Is anyone buying this story? Copper Ridge stock is not moving much. I've never seen a major gold producer's stock move so much based on just sampling on a property they only own 1/4. Could there be something else going on? NP says Kinross shareholders go against the grain Wednesday Aug 11 1999 The National Post reports in its Wednesday edition that shareholders of Kinross Gold Inc. went against the grain Tuesday, pushing the stock higher even as the Toronto Stock Exchange 300 gold and precious metals subindex sagged 1.4 per cent. Kinross said the reconnaissance exploration program of the Ogopogo area in Alaska by Copper Ridge Explorations Inc. returned positive gold values. A quarter of the area is under option to Kinross.
