Unfortunately I do not feel adding another source of lines is the best move here. Usually the paradigm has to be changed in order to move a huge inertia based telco industry and VoIP is the way I view it. If the cable companies do not refine this offering, they will be forcing themselves into a pricing war for service only and that sounds like a real loser for them considering their service history perception.
