Actually, coug, I would say the REVERSE is true. In my observation, so far, it is the more conservative folks-- the ones who Respect Authority On Principle -- who tend to accept the New SI, while the more rebellious anarcho-syndicalists riot to keep the Classic. <g>

I am a pro-Classic activist myself, and am anything but a conservative, in any respect.

Change does not always equal improvement. Sometimes it is a step backwards. A lot of the best SI features were initially missing on the new site (search functions, for example), and it was only by dint of raising a ruckus that we are getting them restored.

And so forth...
