What I get is that some people don't like some other people. And some people will go to amazing lengths to convince them that they are simply deluded. In the hollywood movies you wish to harken to, they had personality clashes. That is far different from disliking someone because of who they are, how they behave, how they treat others, etc. And I never found the men in those movies who dogged after the girls with overbearing and adolesant panderings to be at all attractive. Bruce Willis in the series with Cybil Shepard (?) was like that. A thoroughly boring and boorish man. Now I really am off. I can but hope you really draw the "public curtain" next time, or take it to the Beltane thread.
