The trouble is that Schwab and MBT are firm adherents of the myth. Schwab doesn't pretend to look for the shares - just "This security cannot be sold short" sort of message.

Would you tell us which broker you use?

BTW, I'm pretty sceptical of many of the most recent IPO's, but RHAT may be for real. If Linux takes off RHAT could be a major force, not a niche player like STMP and the other picayunities that have come to market recently.
