TO ALL: Re: Lowering Option Strike Prices

Is anyone else on this thread concerned about lowering the
already awarded option strike prices, as the proxy materials
I just received from Corel requests?

I thought the point of awarded options was (at least partially)
to provide management and key employees with an incentive
to raise the stock prices. Obviously, they haven't done this.

According to the proxy materials, the biggest beneficiary of the
option strike price bail-out is Dr. Cowpland. I can't help feeling
that this is not right.

Wouldn't it make sense to send management a strong message
in the place they understand that shareholders insist on moves
that benefit the stock price?

Comments?
