re: NN - watch XLNX and ALTR PLD makers who supply lots of product into networking companies. They are on a tear and therefore indicate that the network companies are taking lots of product to meet their own demand.

OT - your screw in table...
if your table truly is valuable, here is the best suggestion.
Go to a good hardware store, I believe there is such a thing as a reverse-direction drill bit and reverse direction screw. Drill center of old screw and insert new screw. Screw tightly which will then actually remove original screw.

Vice-grips are like pliers which actually lock onto the object you are grabbing. They are adjustable so the appropriate pressure can be applied for a vice-like grip. They come in different sizes so maybe your table will not get damaged.
