Starfish Feeds the Hungry

The starfish played on the ocean floor,
Sifting up the deep.
Nature's vacuum, like a broom,
Seabottom scum it seeped.

Then the giant suckerfish came,
They glided, on the prowl.
Sucking life from their prey,
Their mouths a permanent scowl.

Starfish swam, but O so slowly,
From the juggernauts.
Starfish, caught struggling valiantly!
But the suckerfish gobbled starfish's guts.
