George, I understand your levels of frustration as they pertain to share price(believe me!), but it will come all to soon, IMO we are now 'standing right on top of it'. The sampling and assays will surely tell very shortly.
Personally, I am extremely excited with this news. It may take a few days for the magnitude of this release to sink in. In this market it is normal for there to be a delay or lag in response after positive news. We are heading into a lenghty period of active field work and testing, that should provide us with a series of events and impact dates to move the stock. The market won't ignore this play very much longer. There is no question that some major geo-types are now talking about this play and wondering if perhaps people gave up on Alberta a little to early. This PR will have made some telephones ring. The potential magnitude of the metals play, the inferences re. kimberlite/or kimberlitic material, the initiation of the field work.... The few that start to 'GET THE BIG PICTURE' will start quietly accumulating as to not draw to much attention.
re. the hesitancy to say kimberlite, Marum doesn't want to have to retract on any statements made in NR's but just because they have not used the 'K' word doesn't mean they didn't stick their thumb right in it. Technically, it may to turn out to be a kimberlitic material. Who cares what it is, as long as it has the potential to host diamonds! We should be jumping up and down IMO - Kimberlite(maybe), sandy tuff, great indicators/geochem and FIELD WORK BEGINNING IMMEDIATELY. What else could we ask for? Yes, of course and increase in share price but that will come and I think sooner rather than later!!!!
The psychological and economic forces driving the current junior mining market may have a short term impact on the share price of Marum BUT they have absolutely nothing to do with the realities of the play, the progress made, the work planned, the metals and/or diamonds buried in the Chinchaga. George, IMO the market factors make for an unprecedented buying opportunity. I'm with you, I wish I had more moula right now as this is a great buying opp. we are staring an elephant in the eyes. People are going to wish they had found 5 more cents of nerve in the very near future.
In closing, does anyone know if Sudhir is still watching MMU? It would be interesting to get his perspective!
