drsevelte: Well, most often I get involved when attacks are posted against the regular contributors to this thread. And I will admit, I have less tolerance for those that only manage to post their displeasure at what they read, but have never or rarely offer opposing positions to what they are in disagreement with and or rarely if ever contribute. In other words, they only show up to bitch.
In all honesty, I suspect we (the regulars) show more tolerance for those that contribute a lot to this thread, than we do for someone who just shows up to spew something out, having never or rarely contributed something of value to this thread. I think that is human nature.
However, I rarely get assistance policing this thread. It would be nice if the regular contributors would help me remind people of the guidelines more often. Heck, I have been reminded by a few folks, on more than one occasion, that I have been out of line with the thread guidelines myself...<gg>
While your point is made, it would be best if you pointed it out to the poster. I don't always feel like being the only MDA thread cop. I don't like doing it and I don't always do it well, but I keep trying to improve.
