Thanks for the link Bob.

I talked to David Russell at UP, and he confirmed that the pumping,gathering,and distribution, as well as computerized controls etc. are all dependent on the electrical power grid as far as he knows.

I also emailed Ken Colontonio (investor relations) at Pennaco requesting verification and information, but have received no reply as of this date.

It appears that if there are power outages affecting their local areas, they won't be able to get their gas to market during these disruptions, when demand for it should be the highest. So much for an alternative energy source?

I'm going to check out your Y2K link now.
