Hi ET, So XAU made a new low since March 1995, the 200 day MA has been down since Oct 1996... and you are talking about "gut wrenching?" Here is a bit of advice from another guy who uses "but what do I know" all the time... pick a long position in an equity that is moving up over a 200 day MA which itself is moving up... you'll cut the GWs in half or more. If you want a short, the reverse is true... equity below the 200 day MA which itself is moving down. Quit fighting the tape, as they say...
