I've traded with Schwab over 1100 times this past year and have been extremely satisfied. However, I trade in an IRA and NOT a margin account as you do. I might not get the $5 trades of Brown & Co. or the instant fills of MB Trading, but the fills I get are accurate and fair. Customer service has been tops. In fact, I just got off the phone with one of the Schwab reps (it's 11:00 PM Houston time) and he very curteously helped me set up my multiple accounts on their new interface screen just rolled out. Do all other brokers answer the phone near midnight??? Sorry to hear about your bad experience, but I just wanted you to know that there ARE people who are totally satisfied with their Schwab experience (since 1985). I've since cancelled my MB Trading and Datek accounts and Schwab is my only broker now. (Also bought a token 200 shares of SCH today.) Good luck Gary
