>> Your friend may want to reconsider his/her major
<g> Cute riposte, Alex, but not very supportive of your earlier post or responsive to mine.
>> Ever called MSFT tech support?
Acutally, no, and I'm sure it would be a drag. But, amazingly, after using their products for years, I've never had the need to call them. If you can rtfm, the answer is usually available.
>> I think Microsoft is a great company that had a great history of making money for their investors. However their PE ration will eventually catch up and the earnings growth will slow.
Safe guess, but guess what, certain people have been saying the same thing about your company, Cisco, for the last few years. So far they have been dead wrong.
Those same people have predicted 27 out of the last 3 bear markets. They see the market as a zero sum game and don't understand that companies like msft, csco and intc can create permanent wealth in the process of changing the world. I wouldn't think someone with your background in technology would want to chant the mantra of such a group.
Good luck with your investments, Frank (long csco, msft, and qcom) |
