OX,

I have not played the NDX index in over a year, but the main difference is the price. Right now the at the money calls on the NDX is around $50. Although the NDX options are very expensive if nailed correctly, it is one of the few options that can return close to 100% in a day and yes it can be done. I did it twice, once in about 30 minutes, and a 2nd time in 1 day. I have also once lost about 100% in a day also, and that was the main reason I stopped playing it - became more conservative.

The QQQ is a much much slower mover and has no where the volitility of the NDX options.
