re commodity prices & what I think

I don't think, I know. many "commodities" have been manipulated. Often it is near only those items which futures are traded. Do you wonder, as I do, why many farmers are able to make a better(far better) living growing hay than wheat, beans, corn or...? And Why Hay futures are not traded?

In much of the Eastern US only two "commodities" are raised on "farms", corn & milk. We had spoken before about how if one is manipulating the commodities market lower, it's OK, CFTC sees nothing. Make just one long term investment in a long term storeable commodity and and they come after you with both feet!

And of oil? I too wondered about the "missing" barrels. I wondered how Clinton would have been allowed to sell much of the US stategic oil reserves into a softening market? Would we never again need those reserves?

This whole economy has been bent & twisted against every producer of anything & for the banker, broker, and service related field.

I wrote Congress about the oil sales, but have done more good with the gold issue.
