Republicans in general are more isolationist and less likely to send the boys and girls overseas to mix it up. >> Right you are(though I'm not sure of year of war with Mexico in early part of this century). What I was talking about is I think, and China fears, Republicans might be far more willing to help protect Taiwan from Communist(read as all caps) China.
