Teflon, Good Morning.
The red hat IPO probably had some effect on limiting MSFT's move up on a psycholical level. Everyone knew red hat was out there but the added publicity of going public depressed MSFT somewhat in my opinion---especially yesterday.
This probably added fuel to the move by RHAT stock price.
I had been away for a week and missed out on some great trading opportunities.
My only stock holding at this point is MSFT (not much of it either).
Going cash.
MSFT should be the stock to buy long at some point in the next couple of months. It should have a hell of a ride early next year. To me it is only a matter of trying to pick up the best entry points.
I don't think the current price is the bottom but the 77 to 80 is good enough for me to add more--i agree with you. This has to do more with my negative market outlook going into late September. In any case, i am not going to risk not being in MSFT on a long term basis and will hold on to it in some quantities---just don't want to miss the boat.
