...so what you're saying is "wait and it will eventually happen just like we said it was going to happen last week." How quaint for you all.

I would point out that other effects were caused by the eclipse that will probably have more profound effects upon the world. Notably the fact that the temperature drop was around 20 degrees in some areas... figure that out: On a nice, normal day the moon cuts a swath some 2000 miles long by 60 miles wide (or so). The temperature is dropped 20 degrees for the entire time. Q. What kind of impact does this have on the planet? A. A large one.
But to me this seems more like something that could be studied by a geologist than leaving it to the general science of Astrology. But once again, this is just my opinion. Of course that opinion is based upon the mathematics that say roughly 120K sq feet were effected, with a height of up to 70 miles (or more) which may have impact upon our fair planet. Roughly 39 billion cubic feet of gas was reduced 20 degrees... naw, no effect could possibly be predicted from this. Have you ever stuck a freeze pop into a cup of warm water and watched the geothermic reaction?

... as far as spells are concerned; are you referring to Voodoo, Wicha, Black Magic, or even elementary curses. I would warn you that I am warded against all of these by a magical thing called a "nic" (and of course distance). LOL ; )

"One should not be so smug about ridiculing others so soon!!! For all I know, you may be adversely affected in some "unexpected" way before 1999 is out."
... I once again do not need a star chart to tell you that undoubtedly something bad will happen to me this year. So what? Don't sweat the small stuff - and its ALL small stuff. I didn't mean to necessarily ridicule as much as I would agree with heinz's conundrum theory. If everyone were an Astrologer the world would undoubtedly fall apart (as did every society based upon this general science). I think of all cyclical things this is most true.

But then I am enjoying seeing what people think will happen and then seeing what really happens... this is sorta entertaining. So don't think I think it is all bad. :)
