Actually if you compare FLE and CHB financials you will find that FLE has a much better balance sheet. FLE has $7.33 in cash vs CHB's $0.51. FLE has virtually no debt vs CHB's debt to equity ratio of 47%. They currently trade at similar P/S ratios while Fleetwoods P/E is slightly higher. also FLE pays a 3.5% dividend at todays prices.

That being said I own CHB and not FLE. I was attracted to CHB's higher growth rate and agressive strategy. I guess the agressive acquisitions have the negative impact of weakening the balance sheet.
