Frank, RE: They targeted Intel for the longest time and Kurlaq was just plain poison. Now the target is Dell and long as Merill attacks we are not going anywhere. This could go on for months. No wonder why so many loose their patience.

Merrill Lynch can no more control the price of DELL in the long run than you or I can.

You cite INTC as an example that supports your point, but in reality INTC refutes your point. Tom Kurlak lowered his long term rating of INTC to a neutral way back on August of 1998, matching his short term rating of neutral. The stock appreciated 33% over the next four months before Kurlak finally threw in the towel in December of 98, raising both his long term and short term rating with INTC at a split adjusted price of $60
