No, a limited supply in the face of increased demand will be a negative for Medimmune for years to come. It will put a cap on earnings. An unlimited supply in the face of increased demand will be a huge positive for medimmune, just as long as there is no other competition. Why do you think that Intel decided not to cut prices last fall? They know they have the monopoly and people will pay to have the product. They also have the production capabilities to keep up with demand. Apple Computer on the other hand lost market share and business in the past for not being able to keep up with demand.
