ted, the depressed analyst is usual when a stock is in its lows. no big deal. debt level are big but management is sound. with the problems facing revlon, i figured perelman doomed. (he was trying to sell REV. The buildup in hope let the stock drop, imo.) But there is so many good clues that it's not the case here. debt was carried (not his fault) and now being lowered, moral should have improved greatly, inventory (a key indication) is improving (takes time, i understand). But the bottom line: Mr. Levin seems to know what he's doing.

As to the state of the economy, I wouldn't count on the U.S. At some point the engine will stop (i guess when most analysts are bullish/raise expectations). Overseas is the big one.

I'm sure Mr. Levin is aware of all that's happening. This thing is too fragile to let it slip.
