I am responding to you on this thread (fil) because your question is of OO. I looked at the chart of OO and there has been a lot of insider buying during Jan. and Feb. but the stock must now breakout of its base which is flat at the 50day MA. The decreasing volume and now rising relative strength make me think we don't have to wait very long. My Daily Graphs this week show estimated earnings for 97 at .55 (so -14%) and .70 for 98 (so +27%) and 0% debt. Growth rate now at +57%. I define "breakout" to be a rise in price which exceeds the highest price of the stock in the last 3 months, at least, and from a dormant formation such as a base, triangle, or rectangular trading range. This rise in price MUST be accompanied by HIGHER than normal volume. In the case of OO the price I want to see is a close at or above 11 3/4 or 12. If you want to learn more about technical analysis there are a lot of good books. Try to get something basic to begin with.

Speaking French is fun for me because I used to live in France and I miss it sometimes.....the bread! the cheese!!! and the Alps!!

Oh, and it's Mme Graphs!

Soyez cool!
