Barry, I hate to remind you but about a month ago CNN predicted Novell at "5-8 within one year". Novell can buy stock until they are blue, or, until someone says "my God, Novell is out of cash!". Then, the house of cards will collapse.

Every day, Microsoft tells the world in simple terms what the future will bring. The "semi" makers do the same. Oracle announces the box for every table. Then, Novell publishes a "white paper" that only someone in Boca Raton could understand (assuming IBM was listening -- which they are not).

If I were a Novell stockholder, "insurance" would sound good about now. But I'm not.

I'm just a certified Novell reseller who has heard too many clients ask for "NT". And, a guy who sold a few NOVL puts because of all the noise.

Comments? "

Joe: Do we have a frustrated Novell reseller or some "real" front line concerns which needs to be addressed by our management team?

Craig..If you sold puts, that means you want the stock put to you and you would like to become a Novell shareholder. Perhaps you could share with us your experience with your customers. How is the support from the front office?

You are on the front lines and if you see something which is not working or not available, let us hear about it. Management seems to be proactive and very open to feedback from its customers AND wants to provide solutions. Why are they asking for NT? Perhaps a NT/Netware 'hybred' is the best configuration.

Give us a report....
