<A K6-2-450 with mobo and fan is about $50 cheaper than a Celeron 466 and outperforms it in business apps and for software development.>

Guess again. K6-2 400 is 10% behind a Celeron 400 in Business Winstone 99 under Windows 98 (19.0 vs. 21.1):

And you can bet that K6-2 450 is even further behind Celeron 466. No wonder the price of the K6-2 CPU w/ Super 7 motherboard has to be $50 cheaper than Celeron 466 w/ motherboard.

But I guess with Athlon, no one cares about K6-2 anymore.
