What you say about personal attacks is basically true but,on some occassions, one person is merely retaliating to a personal attack from the other and, in the heat of passion, the name calling can get out of hand but,it is going to happen and I don't feel either of the parties should go crying to mama. Harry Truman said it best. " If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Emotions also can flare completely out of control when extreme issues come into play that offend the spiritual, or deep seated, beliefs of one or the other. When that happens, the proverbial offal is going to fly from the fan. Either be ready to field it or get out of the way. Michelle wants to be able to post her opinions,as if they were facts instead of opinions sometimes, and this can be very irritating because her, or anybodys, opinions are no more important than the other fellow's....TD |
