Look what has happened to Elaine G.'s predictions of late.

In regards to the Schmidt purchase of Novell's stock. I had posted earlier that I would like for him to have a heart to heart meeting with those officers and directors who sold their shares approx. two years ago. He should encourage them to repurchase in the open market the same number of shares they sold (which would have been approx. $20) in the past. There is no good reason for them having sold their shares other than losing the market share battle with Microsoft. Those persons that hestitate from purchasing Novell stock at these low prices should be issued bus tickets to the destination of their choice.

The insiders of Avid were probably purchasing their shares just prior to the Intel stake annoucement; although it was not released until shortly after due to the SEC processing time frame perhaps. You can go to www.insidertrader.com look under the most recent week's filings.
