caldera (another linux distributer) just got a 25% investment from mti. (nsdq: mtic) they are a bit more business user focused than red hat, and have revs = about 75% of rhat's. this is another way to play here. (note 25% of caldera sold for $6 million, so maybe rhat's valuation is a tad high), but if the two converge somewhere in the middle, could be a big boon for mtic, whose basic raid array/fiber channel business is going quite well too.
