Banks selling property holdings The two largest banks in Canada (CIBC and Royal Bank) have recently announced that they're selling off their property holdings. I'm Canadian and I don't know if US banks are doing the same thing. I don't claim to understand all the subtleties of these particular sales, but when companies start selling off their assets it's usually a bad sign... Fun-da-Mental
