Lee, I am sure that there is much going on behind the scenes. I feel certain that Greenspan will be gone sometime shortly before or after the election. In fact, from what I've heard, that seems to be a given. The real problem would be if he leaves sooner than that. And if that is announced at the FOMC meeting, well, I'll just say that cash is king! <g> I'm certainly no economist, so don't know if we need an increase in rates. But I sure see prices slowly rising in some areas. When I start thinking about all of the underlying things that could be going on in the financial areas of this world, my imagination goes crazy! It certainly does get spooky. The thing is, this kind of stuff has been going on for years. But with the internet, more people are aware of it. Ah, a good argument for tech. Go AOL! <g>
