Danny,

Good to see you on this board. I completely agree with you on long term investing. I had 2000 shares of ATHM in March of '98 but traded out of it just before it left for space, now I have just 1000 shares of it. If I had just closed my eyes and believed in my own ability to pick a good stock for the long term, I would have 4000 shares of it today! I'm still learning that patience is a virtue.

Another point to be made here is when one invests rather than trade, the need to watch a stock every 2 minutes is eliminated, giving one time to get some work done and maybe even get paid for it. Double income.
