According to the WSJ they are one of the few internet based businesses cutting a profit (I believe that was last thursday's WSJ I read that in). How profitable is the question and is there growth. Based on the growth in household subscriptions, I would imagine so. Barnes and Nobles on the web will have some catching up to do, though probably not a whole bunch, and their increased visibility could actually raise consumer's awareness of internet-based book stores, thereby increasing the overall market. Then the two will be fighting for market share of a growing pie.

I need to defininity see some pro-forma financial statements before I can feel totally comfortable though.
