I totally agree. We are going down intermediate term. I do follow Jerry's graphs and his page is excellent. However, short term TA has been wrong many times. I almost never buy options with a week to expiration EXCEPT sometimes with INTC (if I have a hunch) because of their habit of announcing earnings that particular week. I just think that a small sucker rally would fuel selling on the news.
