PAX was easy the first day after the 6 day run up, ZOMX was good for a short. I shorted IDPH for a few and then it flew back up 4, I am nervous about that one. I'm going to wait. I didn't realize as long as you know your stock its more important than just knowing how to short as a 'technique'.. but I tried something different on the watch list.

Instead of 'shorting' a pick like I did DISH the other day, I decided for a change to say if it falls a certain x amount the stock could shorted. Eventually these 'short' possibilities will be part of the watch list but I have found 2 shorters I like to work with, one is writing a book and the other is a scientist on another thread.

I just like to short the good ones with the high relative strength and high technical rank, I have no feel or care for the 'deadbeat' stocks that end up worthless. That's not our niche. It takes too long and you can't go both long and short so you are left with nothing while while its popularity keeps it up.

You can't do a separate list for shorting.. IDPH was both a long and a short the day it was on my 'short list'.. The intraday range that day was amazing. Its much easier just to give the trendline above which you go long and below which you short. But as we are not a 'short' service, it will be done sparingly on the watch list, until the time is ripe for a 'short' expert to join the team.
