Nah, we don't want to nuke North Korea. We want the north to continue to fall over its feet so that a single Korea, led by the south, of course, can scare the pants off the rest of Asia and remind China that it has more important matters to attend to than snarling at Taiwan. (Of course, the Japanese would get sincerely nervous, but they have already been changing their stance vis-à-vis world politics and military position.)
