It's truly phenomenal what McCaw and his management team has done with their existing spectrum. Should Nextel be successful in acquiring the NextWave spectrum, it will be a major coup which will give them the most spectrum of any domestic wireless company. With the NextWave spectrum, there is no reason why Nextel should not have AT LEAST the market cap of PCS, who isn't even at an operating cash flow positive level. I think todays market activity is just the beginning in reflecting that notion.

IMO, the foolish rank amateurs at NextWave who originally over bid for the spectrum and therefore went bankrupt proves how important a top management team with a good business plan is more valuable than any technology. It's time for the experts at Nextel to take over.

BTW, Kevin Roe is a fool.
