What I don't like about most jr. Canadian exchange stocks is the crappie liquidity, even Canadian stocks on a US exchange, take RIC for example, a good stock, but it can move 30% with less than 5000 shares traded. You're either in for the long run, or nothing. It's difficult for US traders to short term invest with Canadian stocks and most US brokers use a Canadian broker as a middle man, then they both double dip the commissions, big spreads. The investor again loses. IMO shorter term US investors are much off staying with US exchanges and trade the Canadian companies listed there when necessary.
