You are positively correct; partially. The reasons that you give do not apply here.

I did (publish a negative report on a stock that had little merit and that all of the analysts loved)! During the early eighties; for many reasons and logical arguments that have actually come to pass, since; I published a sell recommendation on Cray Research. I was, unfortunately about two years and a couple of hundred percent early; an unforgivable sin.

The "herd" was against me.
