I am pleased with the content and quality of that report. The recent silence from ABT was deafening. I would be on the watch to see what analysts think and react. Perhaps we are at a turning point. Certainly many of the structural problems have been resolved and it appears that they will aggressively build market share. Their house is almost completely in order now it is time to grow the business. On the negative side, I would have liked to have seen a progress report on their research activities. Nibbling here seems warranted at a minimum. Given the companys size, their dominance of their sector and the amount sales generated all warrant retaining at least a small position.
