Lombard speed, feature bump on the way

Word on the street has it that in early September, perhaps along with the announcement of the C2 iMac, the Lombard Powerbook G3s will be updated to include a Rev.B motherboard (which uses a PCI version of the RAGE Mobility graphics chip, whose AGP brethren we have seen screaming along in iBooks) and both 433 and 466MHz models. The current 333Mhz model may be bumped to 366, although this is not confirmed.

The starting price point for Lombards is also expected to drop to $2300, down from $2500.
